"Be somebody, nobody thought you could be"...The quote that has stuck to my mind and pushed me to pursue the field of art despite being a commerce graduate. One might consider my lack of attending any formal art school as my deficiency, however I feel that this is what has helped me to grow in an unconditional manner.
I am drawn to the beauty in the little things around me. They are the things that inspire me every day to portray their simple beauty in my art. I have always had an artistic flair since I was a child. Art was something that came naturally to me and it was an outlet that gave me the space to express myself. No matter what I have been doing, somehow I always found time to draw.
My interest and dedication has pushed me to work towards specialising in portraits and realistic sketches using charcoal as a medium. I’ve honed my skills by sketching my friends and family (including my dog!) I have a keen interest towards detailing and I make sure that this is what catches the eyes of my onlooker.
My mantra is simple: “Only an undying passion and dedication can take you places!”
